Supreme Studios Ambassador Program

SSD Ambassadors are a small select group of students at Supreme Studios who are looking to grow as a leader and explore the professional dance business. This program will give students who are selected special and unique opportunities only available to the members of the Ambassador program. These include but are not limited to marketing photoshoots,  assistant teacher training, presenting ideas to implement at the studio, and the opportunity to learn the internal workings of the business.

Qualifications:

Students are ages 13-18 (may also apply if 12 years old and wanting to pursue a Junior Ambassador placement). Ambassadors demonstrate consistent class and event participation, initiative around the studio, and are shining representatives of our culture.

Who are the Ambassadors:

Students who stand out at the studio, not only through their skills in dance but also through leadership and representing the Supreme culture. This group is a bubbly, shining face and representation of the studio’s vision, values, and culture.

Mission Statement:

The Supreme Ambassador program is designed to teach young dancers who excel in leadership the opportunity to learn the dance studio business and develop student teaching skills. 

​

Application Process:

Once you apply, we will check your references and talk to all your teachers to see if you are a good fit.  Applications will be available 11/27, and due by 12/27. Ambassador must complete the application form and submit a video interview (video directions are on the application). Dancers may be called in for an in-person interview. 

All selections will be notified by emailed no later than 1/3 and will be expected to accept or decline no later than 1/7. If you do not reply to the email by the deadline, we will assume you are declining the position and will offer it to the 1st waitlisted candidate.

Special Privileges for Supreme Ambassadors in the Leadership Program:

  • Exclusive to ambassadors

    • Photoshoots- Fall, spring,  (plus any additional marketing shoots as needed)

    • Assist in design branded gear 

    • Exclusive opportunities and more

    • Have opportunities to learn to work as an assistant teacher and learn about curriculum development and class management

  • Perks 

    • Contribute new and fresh ideas to be implemented at SSD

    • SSD Ambassador branded shirt

    • Student teaching training

  • Supporting the SSD Family

  • Promote SSD on social media on Facebook and Instagram by sharing posts, posting to your stories, and tagging SSD

  • Contribute to the programming and the culture of SSD by acting as an example. As a FAMILY, Speak in a positive manner about the studio, whether onsite or elsewhere. DO NOT participate in gossip, slander, bullying, or any negative communication about SSD, the program, or other students. This will result in IMMEDIATE removal from the Ambassadors. All feedback is welcome in a one-on-one meeting with an admin member.

Ambassador attitude

  • Conduct themselves with ethics, integrity, and high moral standards

    • Greet students/families as they enter the studio whether they are “on shift” or not

    • Consistently attend enrolled classes

    • Show respect for your studio home by picking up after yourself and using resources responsibly, and encouraging others to do the same

    • This program is a “get out what you put in” formatted program so being a self-starter is a must
